We know you’re busy, time poor and organising conferences is not your business.

General conference tips
- Talk to your franchisees to try and gauge the sort of day they are after – would they prefer to spend a little more money and have a better standard of accommodation? or is the venue not that important to them?
- Your reputation as The franchisor can be on the line here. So don’t provide a “tacky” type of conference. There are no winners here.
- Would franchisees rather cram everything into one day, with few breaks in between? Or spread the event over two-days and have a long lunch and more time to socialise?
- Are the franchisees really bothered about fancy nightime entertainment, or would they prefer a quiet dinner with franchisees of their choice?
- How much leisure time do they need/want?
- These are all important matters to take into consideration to ensure the day is perceived by franchisees as useful and worthwhile, rather than as dull and a time-waster.
- Try to establish your franchise’s annual convention as something of a tradition. If your franchisees are paying to attend the convention at their own expense, it is important that they perceive the convention as something to look forward to – not as an event to dread!
